Welcome to Grieving with the Saints: You Do Not Walk This Road Alone

There are moments in grief when the silence feels unbearable.

Moments when the prayers feel heavy on your lips.
Moments when you wonder where God is.
Moments when you feel like no one truly understands the weight you are carrying.

If you have ever felt that way, I want you to know something very gently and very clearly:

You are not alone.

Not in your sorrow.
Not in your questions.
Not in the quiet ache that lingers long after everything has changed.

This space was created for you.

🕊️ Why “Grieving with the Saints”?

When we think of the saints, it is easy to imagine lives that are distant from our own. Holy, yes. But untouched by the kind of pain we carry.

But when you begin to look closer, you start to see something different.

You see mothers who buried their children.
You see men and women who lost everything.

You see hearts that were broken, misunderstood, and stretched in ways they never expected.

The saints knew grief.

They knew suffering.

They knew what it meant to cling to God in the dark.

And they did not walk that road perfectly.

They walked it faithfully.

That is very different.

🌿 What This Series Is Meant to Be

This is not a history lesson.

This is not a list of facts about holy men and women from long ago.

This is an invitation.

An invitation to walk alongside the saints and allow their stories to gently meet your own.

Each week, we will take time to:

  • Reflect on the life of a saint

  • Sit with Scripture that speaks into suffering and hope

  • Notice where their story echoes something in your own

  • Be reminded that God is present, even here

Not just in the healing.
Not just in the restoration.
But in the middle of the grief itself.

💔 Grief Can Feel Isolating

Grief has a way of making your world feel smaller.

It can feel like everyone else has moved on while you are standing still.
It can feel like your life has been divided into before and after.
It can feel like the person you used to be is no longer there.

And in many ways, that is true.

Grief changes you.

But it does not erase you.

And it does not mean your story is over.

✨ The Saints Remind Us of This Truth

The lives of the saints remind us that suffering is not the end of the story.

It is often the place where something deeper begins.

Not a quick fix.
Not a forced positivity.
But a quiet, steady transformation that unfolds over time.

They remind us that:

  • Faith can exist alongside sorrow

  • Hope can take root in broken places

  • God does not waste our suffering

Even when we cannot yet see what He is doing.

🌸 A Place for Your Story Too

As you read through this series, I want you to come as you are.

You do not need to have the right words.
You do not need to have strong faith.
You do not need to be in a place of healing.

You are allowed to still be in the middle of it.

You are allowed to bring your questions, your tears, and your silence.

This is not a space for perfection.

This is a space for presence.

📖 A Verse to Hold Onto

“I am with you always, until the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:20

Even here. Even in this. He is with you.

🤍 Walking Forward Together

In the weeks ahead, we will walk with the saints.

Not as distant figures.
But as companions.

Men and women who knew suffering

And found Christ there

And who now, in a mysterious and beautiful way, walk with us still.

You do not have to carry this alone.

If this speaks to your heart, I invite you to subscribe so you can continue this journey with me.

And if you are carrying grief today, I am holding you in prayer.
